MISFITS INC. X SOUNDS AUSTRALIA SXSW SYDNEY 2024
At the second edition of SXSW Sydney in Australia in October 2024, Misfits Inc. was one of the select few Indian music companies to represent the country at the showcase festival and conference as part of Sounds Australia x NSW Australia’s Inbound Exchange.
Founders Nayantara Kumar-Shetty and Savinay Shetty were invited as delegates and received international recognition for their work in music supervision and artist management.

SXSW SYDNEY 2024
Ankur Tewari performed a major showcase set at the historic venue Phoenix Central Park (funded by renowned philanthropist Judith Neilson) along with two intimate sets (one as part of the showcase festival schedule, and another for +91 Calling! Indian Creative Mixer) and joined rapper Yung Raja for a fireside chat with Accor.
Tewari also spoke at a breakfast panel on everything from copyrights and songwriting to music supervision and licensing in the Asian subcontinent with APRA AMCOS, the Australian organization representing songwriters, composers and music publishers.
