Alt Pop Band

Born in Mumbai towards the end of 2010, The Colour Compound are an alt pop band.

Rohan Mazumdar and Bradley Tellis play guitars whilst splitting lead vocal duties. Adil Kurwa plays bass and Aditya Ashok plays drums, percussion and handles backing vocals.

In 2011 they released their debut EP - 'Sincerely Yours' and in 2014, their debut full length album - 'From Where We Stand'. There’s a jarring simplicity evident in their music with vocal harmonies laid over melodic guitar lines that sit into a cosy rhythm section. Lyrics that speak of life as we know it and music that doesn’t make you think any more than you need to.

After a brief hiatus, the band has taken on 2020 head first to produce a brand new album set to hit the ground running later this year. The new album explores fresher avenues with newer, different & more raw ailments highlighting more experimental soundscapes and continuing the bridge from their debut album - “From Where We Stand”.
